Default Scan file

Ok i got limewire basic 4.9.11 and im wondering how can i scan a file to make sure theres no virus b4 downloading that file. I have Norton Anti-Virus 2003 Professional Edition.

There isn't a way to scan a file before you download it, as far as I know.

You can do a bitzi lookup on the file, and see what other have said about it if there is any information available. check this link out. http://forums.gnutelliums.com/showth...ighlight=bitzi

Also I have NIS 2004 and I have my anti-virus auto protect enable at all times. This is no guarantee that you won't get a virus, but it should catch most of them should you d/l one by mistake. Make sure your virus definitions are up to date, and check for updates frequently

can i just post a screenshot of my search results so you guys can tell me if its safe or not ill get in soooooo much trouble if i get a virus. But i really want this vid (mpg).

what can i do then i want this movie but i dont want a virus and the bitzrit thing showed no info but you know when you search for files theres this arrow pointing down that has a number on it the highest number file is at the top i think it means quality and people sharing file or something its like 280 is that good safe like?
