limewire keeps starting up

Hi, I hope someone can help me. When I start my computer limewire automatically starts up and when I turn it off it starts up again. Can you please helpme!!! I am using Limewire pre 4.8

It could be a virus, check out the link part 4(a): WARNING: Viruses on network you should be aware of!

There's also a setting in LW >Tools>Options>Advanced>System Startup>Untick the box and click apply.
But it sounds like a virus.:(

You could try updating to the latest version: 4.9.29
