Question Zipped Folders

When downloading movies on limewire alot of them are zipped, especially the good ones that don't come up on a regular video search. After downloading a zipped folder. What are the next steps taken to correctly get the contents and your movie.

Personally, I filter zip files out of my search results because of some of them contain viruses, check other postings in this forum if you don't believe me.

If you have a good AV installed or you are very brave then take the chance and unzip one of them.

I'll stand back and wait for the screaming to subside.

Default

full lenth movies should be about 700MB or more

those little zip files are moast likeley viruses .
nobody puts videos in zip files.

but for some things zip files are fine eg software , full music albums, picture collections etc..

but if you see a whole buch that are the same size but with differant names , ther prolly viruses.

if you do download zip folders ,you MUST scan them with a good antivirus program , or you run the risk of killing your computer.

after you scan them and if they are virrus free, simpley double click on them to open them and they work like a normal folder if you are using windows XP. if your using 2k or 98,95 etc you should get WINRAR wich will lwt you open and use zip files as well as RAR files (RAR files are basicley the same as ZIP folders but with more fetures).

dont use winzip beacaue it has turned into bloatware in the last fiew years and its hard to use.
