sometimes when i play a song after 3 seconds it will stop playing
 

it shows itself still playing in the bottom right but there is no sound. this has been going on for months i have version 4.9.37

Try dissabling the limewire player in options or preferences > player and using another player. A lot of people use Win Amp, Real player etc. I personally use iTunes.
