hi my quicktime says i need more software to watch the films i download all i can here is the sound with a blank screen is there any advice on this? thanks

If you insist on using QT, you'll need to get extra CODEC plug-ins. Go to QT's preferences & you'll see options for updating 3rd party plugins. Also you can go to MIME settings to enable plug-ins. Also, get these DivX, XviD, 3ivx, etc. Without knowing your operating system, I can't advise about other codecs.
