Default question. please help

I have almost 2GB of files in my shared folder.

now just about a month maybe two months i lost all my files, due to a reformat, i was able to get them all back with a file recover program, problem was they all came back with no name just sectors and numbers. I spent the better part of two weeks going through them all and titling them again. i was wondering if anybody can tell me why almost all of my shares when i hold the mouse key over them, sombody elses web address is on there. i check my files all the time and never once had anything come up, now my files have all this stuff i didn't put there and someone elses website.. can somebody please tell me why? and how my files all got renamed? please.. I spent alot of time on my files and it took me over a month to get them back, and almost as long to name them again.. please help, Ahead of time I'm truley sorry if i posted this in the wrong area, first time user for the forum..

thank you kindly

Thank you very much for responding, I checked again and the info in my folder is all the same, except the website.. like I said I check my files all the time and understand about the players adding all that stuff, but it never did before and I've had these files done for at least a couple weeks now and that info wasn't there, but even so I think that has to be what changed it, now I am still confused about the websites, I could understand it showing up if thats where I got it, but it's not..lol example this is one of my files exact name (Bo Bice -The Real Thing-01-The Real Thing) I have the whole cd in there, thats my cd..lol I didn't get it from a website. if ya get a chance check it out and you'll see the website on the last line, you'll know what file is mine because i have the whole cd all songs seprate but they all look like this (Bo Bice -The Real Thing-0???-The Real Thing) except the tracks and the would be 01,02 03 all the way to 11 then the title song. all of these have the same website but and so do quite a few others by different artists, but alot of the other mp3's have all different websites. i understand the ones i got from limewire as I don't change the titles at all, but my personal ones is what bothers me..

again thank you so very much for your help

oh, no, I am 100% positive i had no virus, i switched hard drives from and 80gb to 160gb, my external drive that has all my info was the one that I accidently reformatted, I was installing win xp pro, when it asked which partion i wanted to delete i didn't know my external was on, thats how It go reformated.. yes I smacked myself a million times for that one.. I used magic recover and thats how I got everything back, the only problem is the recovery promram recovered my files but it didn't recover there names, it renamed everything like this (sector 73175168) so I had to open every file and give it the right name back. now my files are fine.
I could hold my mouse over them and all I got was there name and file size, and when I did that in limewire nothing at all came up, now it's only been two days since i las checked, last night when I checked them they had all this info and someonelses web page, I just wanted to know how that happened? and why?

thank you
