How to burn AVI files ???

Gday from Australia me mates ,
Yeah i`ve downloaded me fav tv shows from me limewire pro mate hey . and now I cant work out how to put them onto dvd with me nero software , i dont suppose anyone could take the time out here and sort of help out a bit there mate hey ?
