How do I stop the information boxes that come up when I put my curser over file or music names or any info that is in the search area?

I don't think you can stop them from showing up.

Right click on the title bar above the columns > more options >untick " extended tooltips"

Really? I'll have to try that. The information boxes never bothered me so I wasn't sure if you could stop them from showing up or not.
