Default playing burned CD's

I can't play CD's burned from Limewire downloads on my older CD player, i.e., not MP3. What must I do?

Many older & quite a few new CD players won't recognise or play burnt cd/cdr/cdrw, even if "finalised". Seems the cheaper the better rules if U want to play home made discs

make sure you convert the mp3 to normal audio cd. my kenwood car cd player will not play copied disks but my cheap dvd player plays any thing.

welp, sorry for the misunderstanding...yur original post gave the impression that you were dealing with mp3s (note your statement '....i.e., not MP3')...the other posts make good points, and the concept of not being able to play a CD-R(w) is probably the winner
