System restore?

I've been trying to restore my computer, but it keeps telling me it's unable to restore to that certain date. I'll try a differen't date and it keeps doing it... Anyone know what I should do or try.

Also, my virus scanner keeps poping up I have a torjan but it's un able to delete it. What can I do for that as well?
