How to open after unzipped?

How do I authorize a program ? I downloaded a script writing program, after I (unzipped) it, & I think I have the authorization code....now what? I tried to open the setup box thereafter and it says : Setup file expired????

Could you please edit out the name of the file as it's against the forum rules to mention copyrighted files.....:rolleyes_2:
