The way I show you is the way I always do it........

First Screen Shot:
Make the settings as shown (though you can also use other settings).



Second Screen Shot:
Rightclick the file and choose :Specify the output folder destination



Now you can actually press "Encode (active job list)"

Third Screen Shot:
You can check the file about its specifications by double clicking it (this might be useful if you want to burn a VCD; though I haven't used it a lot because I got always good results by just choosing VCD vob compliant).

You've used PAL settings. IF they use NTSC then they should have 720 x 480 not 720 x 576. And frame/sec should be 29.97 not 25 for NTSC. But that depends upon whether they normally use NTSC or PAL. Just in case they burn a pal disk & find they can't play it on their ntsc player.

Yep, you're right....I'm always forgetting about that point... ...glad that I don't have to deal with the French section and the Secam system, though not sure whether they still use it.....
