Default Error in playing audio CD

Question and advice sought: I burned an audio CD. mp3 files. It will play on my computer but not in my car's cd player. Does anyone know what may be the problem and the solution?

Probably the car CD player, but since you say nothing about what kind of burner software, disks and model of Car CD Player...and don't even mention what operating system you have on your computer.... Beats me ???

I didn't give too many details. Didn't work in three different cars, tried MusicMatch Jukebox, Nero, and others. Nothing worked. Wasn't the system. Gateway FX510XT, 2 - 500GB Segate HDD's and a 150GB WD Raptor HD, Core 2 Extreme, 4 GB Ram, ATI X1900XT crossfire, Lite-On with LightScribe 16X DVD/CD Writer and Reader and a Plextor slot drive DVD burner. Turns out the problem was a lot simpler than I figured. If anyone else runs into this problem, do not try to use a CD-RW. This only works with a CD-R. Got it figured out. Sorry, should have added more specifics in my original post.

yep..cd-rw is not a widely supported format...and as a note, when buying any electronic product, it definitely pays to do research as to what exactly it will play
