compatible RAM

how do I know if my
[Hyundai 64Mb PC100 SDRAM Memory Module (TC-10S)]
and
[KINGSTON KVR-PC133/128-R 128MB SDRAM PC133]
RAM pads from my old computer are compatible with the newer Gateway we have?

compatible is relative...

even if they will fit into the DIMM slots, they are pretty much worthless as their speeds are way under what a modern machine will be able to use...

as a fact, if you put them in your machine (assuming compatibility) all of your memory (the one already in the box included) will operate @ the pc100's speed, which is 100MHz....sloooooooooooow....

what you really need to do is to buy RAM that is compatible with the present RAM in said machine...
