video downloads
 

I downloaded video from kazaa. When i click on the file to open, windows media player opens, i can hear the audio, but no video. Anyone have any suggestions? Time consuming download not to ba able to see it lol.. thanks in advance . this site is way cool!!

you probably need the latest codecs for the movie to play.
go to microsoft and type in codec search

or get the divx software at www.divx.com :)

Build 8 Codec error
 

I downloaded the NIMO build 8 file and when I try to execute the file I get the following message...

Error opening file for writing
"C:windows\system32\msvcr70.dll"

Can anyone help me understand what is wrong?
My downloaded video files will not play without this.
If I chose to ignore the error, the video plays only first few seconds before it freezes the image?

Thanks for the reply. I tried exactly what you said. I then downloaded the build 8 again (in case the file was corrupted) and installed again. I received the exact same error. Any other ideas?

Or do a search for the Tsunami filterpack and install that
