Does anyone know how I can play AVI clips on my PC?

Does anyone know how I can play AVI clips on my PC? I am able to play MPEG but not AVI.

To play AVI files you need a player with the right codecs. I use the codec pack for windows media player available for free from download.com. From that same site you can also get the VLC player, which some people like more than WMP.
