Default How do you viruscheck limewire files?

You are advised to do this but when I rightclick on downloaded files in the Limewire library there's no virus scan option. I have avast.

you check incoming files for viruses by having your virus scanner set appropriately...

Oh! Avast has a p2p shield that includes limewire that I use the default position on, is that enough then? Having said that, it also includes bitcomet as well, and I always manually scan its downloads. That didn't stop a later avast scan turning up a trojan in one program downloaded via it.

You did not mention what type of file you scanned.

Avast, along with the great majority of AV apps, will report keygens as trojans,
even though they are NOT trojans.

More info, without the actual file name, would be helpful.

You also did not say whether or not you are running Avast Pro or the freebie version.
