Default Not being able to download songs

Okay, So here are the Details. I have Windows 7, Limewire 5.5, Cable internet connection and I've downloaded this newest version of Limewire twice already.

Every time I open Limewire and search for an artist it comes back with 0 results. Now this would include not so well known bands like A rocket to the moon, but this also includes artists that are well known such as Taylor Swift. Nothing I search for comes up.

I redownloaded the latest version and was able to download songs after redownloading. I do not want to have to redownload Limewire every time I open the program. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix this??

Try deleting your LW preferences whilst LW is closed, however be sure to first make a backup of your Downloads(.dat) file which has a history of any incomplete files. Instructions here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...tml#post183932

Oh, if you are a mac user, see Deleting LW Preferences folder in OSX
