Toadnode causes illegal operation on download When I push download, Toadnode causes an illegal operation and then closes. Any ideas? |
A new completely rewritten version of ToadNode is supposed to be released tomorrow (February 14). Hopefully it will fix any problems you're having. |

I'd recommend using another client until ToadNode releases a new version that fixes those bugs. They were supposed to release version 1.0 on February 14, but it looks like they weren't finished with it yet. |
Got any new info on when the new version is coming out? I get the illegal error on every single download attempt. |
Look for the new version in June - the reason that 0.94 crashes during downloads is a bug that has been known about, but it was decided to leave the beta code and begin work on the new engine back in January - yes, February was delayed in order to make changes to the engine to make it very extensible - the new version will be pluggable and will be released ship with support for Gnutella and OpenNap, and may contain some little extras such as tools for ping, traceroute and possibly E-Mail checking. A plugin SDK will also be released within a month after 1.0 comes out, for other developers to go to town making their own plugins. |
Try uninstalling and then reinstalling ToadeNode. |
