how long does is usually take to connect to the Gnutella Network? I tried the hostlist.txt fix... but nada... please advise...

Regarding the previous message; After a bit i am getting an error message stating:

XoloX: Network connection error. Do you want to re-configure your network settings... or something like that...


Now.... i am not behind a firewall or anything like that... i have an open connection... please advise...

Well your isp could be blocking you, i doubt it but its a possibility.
check out this forum here http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=12051 and download a hostlist from kaya or gamer,
they work very well. If you still cant connect after that its very likely to be your isp. here is a site to download a port scanner to check if 6346 is being blocked http://www.portdetective.com/
