I have broadband so the dialers don't mean s**t but when you type portishead and get porn this is so wrong!. Why don't the yank government clamp down on this instead of file sharing.

Because or government is screwed up with it's priorities in the wrong place.

Quickest way to remove a porn dialer is do a file search for "dialer" and you should find all the icons, approximately 4-5 get put on your hard drive in various folders, I use to get them all the time from other p2p programs. Just select all the icons and delete them. Running ad-aware can clean your system up as well.

Since we all could learn to take control of our ip problems, looking to the government to fix the problem would be a waste. I'm sure Xolox will eventually come up with something that will fix the problem, and if not I'm sure there are programs out there we can run parallel to Xolox that will keep these ips out of our hair.
