search results It seems almost every time I do a search, two items come up on my list. Each has the EXACT text I posted; one has an .exe extension and the other has an .html extension. It seems obvious to me that someone out there is custom creating these files to be hits on searches but my question is "WHY?". Does anyone know what this is all about? |
Exact hits The exe files are most likely viruses that are trying to spread if they are small, and who knows why they're there if they are reporting as being >100 MB. The html file is some internet search engine page... probably trying to get free advertising byspamming everyone that looks for anything onthe g'net. The easiest way to avoid seeing these is to select a file type in the drop down box. |
search results to: the seeker Yes, I figured the .exe files were viruses. Thanks |
