After reading about the MEM/Resource/ZAP/down right freaky problems with Xolox...I have seen them; YEAH!!

Running Xolox on my Win2k Pro machine has been as flawless as you can expect from a free app created for good but used mostly as a quick path to the dark side.

I put Xolox on a Win98SE machine with pretty much the same set up as my Win2k machine this weekend and let me say that Win98 and Xolox don't play nice. Low resouces, refuses to unblank the screen, and creator forbid an app like Photo Shop tries to launch.

Finally, after a couple of months of being left out, I feel much better.

BTW the afore-mentioned machine is a dual boot with Win2k Server being the other choice. Booting to W2KS and running Xolox presents no problem at all.

At least now if my self esteem starts suffering I can launch under 98 and feel like one of the crowd.
