Trouble Moving Movies To Ipod

How do I transfer movies that I have downloaded from Limewire onto my ipod? I have tried dragging them into the itunes library- no luck. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong??

What format are the movies that you're trying to add to your iPod? They have to be either mpeg4 or H264. Have a look at the thread below, it has info about video converters etc & also a lot of info about how to add files to iTunes;)
