hi I'm new here I have downloaded quite a few songs tonight and was wondering if there is a way to copy these music files from LW to my windows media player or desktop so I can access it easily. Prefer not to have it come on automatically on start up. Am using XP, 1 gig ram, DSL, latest version of LW (4.something) ISP is att.yahoo, don't know anything about the router or modem - only that both were installed by Best Buy Geeks, have AVG, Spybot, AdAware. Don't know what capacity my HD has, am connecting from home using router for lap top use. Am happy to be in a supportive environment here--I'm such a newbie at all this download stuff, hope you will all be patient with me as I learn to do this. I appreciate any help you can give me.:giggle: |
For WMP Sticky: Windows Media Player 10 Guide: Adding Songs to Your Library and Burning CDs (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images/misc/multipage.gif 1 2) . For DT Shortcut Click Start, then click my computer. Now go to what ever drive you have your shared folder on ie, C drive. Find shared folder and right click the folder. Should see Send To. Now find Desktop (create shortcut) click and your done. Hope this helps. :D |
