New Member says Hello!

Hello out there! I'm new to this forum and am looking forward to posting here very much. I'm using my daughter's computer so at this point I don't have all the info needed to list my system info. The first thing I need help with though is for her (daughter). She's sucessfully downloaded some videos and burned them on CD-R discs. But they won't play on the TV. Message pops up that "playback feature does not work"? Any ideas or help? Thanx, ajvaught

Just a few thoughts; some (older) dvd players don't accept the CD-R format, try them on a newer player. Maybe the settings on your burner need to be manually tuned to the disc's you are using ? Try leaving a little more free space on the disc, don't try to fill it all the way up. Hope you get it going I know it can be annoying ! Welcome to the community.

Thanks bobinoh for replying to my post so quickly! We know the DVD players will accept the format as we've ran them before without any problem. We'll check out the burner settings as suggested. Also, thank you for the welcome to the forum. Look forward to posting and meeting new people as well as learning a lot since I'm a relative newbie at this stuff. Hope that "Buckeye" weather hasn't got you too snowed in. LOL ajvaught
