worried silver surfer hi, hope someone can help put this pensioner's mind at rest. I live in the UK and paid to join Ares Ultra 4.2.2.0 as I read about legitimate music download sites and read that stations in the US like CNN and others had rated them as one of the best so assumed if a reputable tv station said that they must be legitimate. I have today for the first time logged onto this site and read (although it was dated a few months ago) that Ares Ultra is not a legitimate site and I am horrified and extremely worried. Please could someone tell me if Ares Ultra 4.2.2.0. is legitimate or not as I tried to join in their chat but no response as cannot seem to get in. Thank you |

Hi Shropshirelass, and Welcome to the Gnutella Forums. AFAIK, Ares has absolutely nothing to do with the Gnutella Network. I myself, knows nothing about Ares, but the Link below lists many scam sites that offer many different P2P programs while scamming the typical layman into buying something that my be or usually is B/S. They may also continue to charge your CC without you even knowing it. I would suggest calling your financial institution immediately and tell them that you think you've been Scammed and ask for your money back. Look through the list in the Link and see if any of thoses sites are the ones that you bought Ares from. Good Luck http://www.gnutellaforums.com/315527-post56.html |
