Finally!!!! Hi to all. (& conection issues)
 

Glad to finally figure this out. I am having connection issues. my OS is vista, downloaded Limewire Beta 4.13.0 for my last try. Other system details: 4.0 GB, 64-bit OS, Windows firewall, Broadband DSL connection w/2-wire modem, 204 of 285 GB free, Java 32 & 64 bits, ISP = Netzero, connect from home, "yout test worked does come up with test, no brick wall, no sharing.

If nothing there helps, let us know the model of your 2-Wire. Also whether you have 'use UPnP' or 'manual port forward' ticked within LW's tools > options > advanced > firewall config :)

Also, if you're looking for a good free version of LW, you could (if you like) try the 4.16 version mentioned in this thread: Downgrading to LimeWire 4 from 5 & resuming incomplete downloads
