Deleted Download E-Mail
 

I recently signed up for LimeWire Basic. I accidently deleted the confermation e-mail that I should have clicked on to download the LimeWire Software. Does anyone know how to contact LimeWire to get that e-mail resent to me?

afaik you don't have to sign up in any way for the basic version....its a free download

I do not believe this was a scam. I filled out the information on Limewires home page & paid $13.95 for a 1 year subscription w/o tech support. The confermation e-mail was sent to me & I accidently deleted it.

That would not be LW Basic, that would be their one off LW Pro without support. However, that package is a single one-off purchase of LW Pro without any support or updates. So if you thought you were getting one year support you were mistaken. You could try upgrading your package with negotiations. Send a private message to limenathan (click on link) to advise about date & payment details & email used.

To verify if it was the official LW you paid, check your payment details. If they payment was not directed to Lime Wire LLC then you must have purchased at a scam site. If that's the case, cancel the transaction asap & tell your CC company it was a scam.
