every time i download something it goes into limewire

Like say i download something somewhere else, using a different program. when i turn on limewire all of the downloads i download on the other program are on limewire as well. weird huh

Can anyone help me please

What other programs are you using to downloads files with? or is it just general downloading files direct from the internet?

I'm guessing LW 5. So...
In LW Tools > Options > Advanced > System. Check File Associations... if LW's set to associate with .torrent files then untick the box > ok. Restart LW.

If that doesn't do it then you might have to change things within Windows settings (assuming you use Windows - you didn't even tell us that much:p):
