Fixing stalled downloads that does not resume

:sos:

pls i'm using the latest limwirepro 5.3.6 ,...i had about 4 video downloads which were all over 50%,..but after a while after i shut down my computer and restart,..all the video downloads were stalled,...but when i click on fix stalled ,..it attemts to restart but after this it returns back to stalled position and tells me to search for video again,.....after i search for one of the video again and try to redownload,..nothing happens untill i delete the video,..but the download started all over again from the begining,....i still have the other 3 remaianing downloads stalled but i dont want to lose them because they are large files.,.restarting them will take too long to downlaod again,..pls what can i do to make stalled files continue or resume download as pressing the FIX STALLED does not work.....i dont want to lose the video files because they are already over 50%,...........THANK YOU

Using the search function like you used to find the files in first place is the very best way to find sources to download from. Fix stalled I suspect only looks for previous ip's that you were downloading from .. however many people use dynamic ip's. Thus, to get a better list of fresh hosts to download from, use search, then right-click search tab after 10 minutes or so & choose Find More Results.

With LW 5 if you stop a download file, it will delete the incomplete file.

What I suggested above applies to gnutella files. Torrent files are different, except if you cancel the file it will still delete it afaik. But you didn't mention if you were downloading torrents.
