Windows 7 Pro and 2 Lime Wire Pro purchases Hi. I just got a brand new desktop computer that I upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro. I previously purchased Lime Wire Pro for my laptop on two different occassions. Sept. 18 and Oct. 14 of 2009. I didn't get free updates with the first purchase, so that is why I made the second purchase. Being recent purchases, I tried several ways of getting to my personal download page. 99% of the time, I can't get the first download to go through. The one time that it did finish the first download in the process, I got an error message about Win32. It was something about it being not valid. Sorry, I can't remember the rest. I would write it down if I could get to that point again, but I can't. Is this a Windows 7 compatibility issue or has my period to download expired? Any suggestions how I can get this to work without having to pay for Lime Wire Pro three times? More system info:

Providing that you bought one of these options from the official site Official Website & Free Download - Lime Wire (payment to LimeWireLLC will show on your reciept & CC statement) then your download period won't have expired yet:) Your Pro personal download page has details of when your benefits expire - on the right hand side at the top of the page you'll see 'Your Order Details'... this will show you when your benefits expire. I don't use Windows 7 but... Does your account have administrator privileges? If not, change the account to include admin privileges. Also, you could try changing the location for saving files within your browser's settings... maybe saving downloads to a different location will make a difference? If you can take a screenshot of the error or tell us exactly what it says, maybe another Windows 7 user will have some answers :) |
