Windows 7 Pro and 2 Lime Wire Pro purchases Hi. I just got a brand new desktop computer that I upgraded from Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Pro. I previously purchased Lime Wire Pro for my laptop on two different occassions. Sept. 18 and Oct. 14 of 2009. I didn't get free updates with the first purchase, so that is why I made the second purchase. Being recent purchases, I tried several ways of getting to my personal download page. 99% of the time, I can't get the first download to go through. The one time that it did finish the first download in the process, I got an error message about Win32. It was something about it being not valid. Sorry, I can't remember the rest. I would write it down if I could get to that point again, but I can't. Is this a Windows 7 compatibility issue or has my period to download expired? Any suggestions how I can get this to work without having to pay for Lime Wire Pro three times?
More system info: - T-3 connection to my Netgear router, then wireless to both computers
- Windows Firewall is on and Avast
- I have tons of RAM, memory, etc (Gateway DX4300-03)
- Network is working fine at home with laptop connected just fine to Lime Wire Pro
- My ISP is a company through my apartments. I pay them monthly for a static IP address
- Don't see a brick wall
- My laptop with Windows XP Pro is running Lime Wire Pro 5.3.6 absolutely fine
