Instruction on how to uninstall

I have Vista, and can't figure how to uninstall the Limewire program. Can some one help please...step by step details would be great!

Very easy. Go to Start menu -> All Programs -> LimeWire -> Uninstall.

Else, find the LW program folder & find the uninstaller inside. First option is obviously easier. Do not use Add/Remove Programs Control panel to try to remove LW, it will not do it properly.

First, I love Limewire yet the version I installed doesn't work. It opens slowly, but the menus don't work. I would like to reinstall.

Here are the strange things-
- Right-clicking the Limewire icon shows a version of "1,0,0,3" (the commas too)
- Limewire doesn't show in the "Add/Remove"
- The Limewire folder doesn't delete

What do to?

As I mentioned above, do not attempt to uninstall LW using the add/remove control panel. To find out version, go to Help menu -> About LW. Reinstalling will also uninstall LW at the beginning of installation process.

Could be an problem with your java for your issues (which is very common). You could try this re-installation technique: http://www.gnutellaforums.com/333278-post2.html

Thank you "Lord" for your help on the Limewire issue. It worked perfect after the reinstall and the deletion of the Limewire Preferences Folder (hidden). The new Limewire works very well. Thanks again for your prompt response.
