your saved file is not valid, choose another file

hi everyone, i am new here and have only been using a computer for a couple of years and though i've acquired some knowledge, i am finding this problem with limewire frustrating. when i downloaded limewire version 5.5.8 i chose to send the downloads to a saved file in a seperate hard drive as i have a large music library. i have a pop up when opening limewire that says, you're saved file is not valid please choose another file, my computer won't let me make a new file in my seperate hard drive. when i try to delete a duplicate file in my windows media player it says the file is copyrite protected and to remove the copyrites before trying again. i am not sure if the two are connected or not. i have windows 7, 4gb ram, 292gb available disc space on seperate hard drive,173 gb available space on my computer, internet provider is cogeco cable,modem brand name is rca, not sure about model number.it is a laptop but is hardwired not wireless. i have java 1.6.0_18, i am not behind a firewall, my security is norton. i recently updated java and did download a few programs, google earth,hp photo creations, mozilla firefox. i just purchased my gateway computer at the beginning of april. i hope this information will generate some help from someone out there. i look forward to being a part of this community and i hope will learn alot about operating limewire.
