| Limewire could be over (and out) Forever You will probably have seen that LOTR has stuck warnings all over the "Limewire (Cross Platform)" page DO NOT UPDATE your LimeWire version coupled with the fact that I received a legal notice from the Limewire org., even though I stopped using LW for well over a year now, saying the following: LEGAL NOTICE This is an official notice that LimeWire is under a court-ordered injunction to stop distributing and supporting its file-sharing software. Downloading or sharing copyrighted content without authorization is illegal. All this shows me that LW is over and on the way out. UK Bob PS. | Alas, poor LimeWire, we knew ye well. Pirate Bay is also shutting down, after one of its founders died. There is a bit of good news this year; the San Francisco Giants are in the (US) World Series. (I understand that when other countries have a 'world series' they actually invite the world.) The Giants have not won the Series since the mid-50's. Go, Rangers! (That's for you, Remoc). |
