Wink Uninstallation/installation

I have manually uninstalled LimeWire and I cannot install LimeWire 2.3.4

The following message appear:
"Another version of this product is already installed. Installation of this product cannot continue. If you want to configure or remove the existing version of this product use add/remove programs in the control panel. {Error message E499428a-E04F-4683-8A21-42AE6D1C651}"

I have no LimeWire icon to uninstall in the control panel/add-remove programs

What can I do?????

Hey Taliban
Thanks for the reply. I have used the regedit to delete any keys called limewire but my computer still gives me the same message. Can I do something else???

run the command regedit.exe and search for any keys related to LimeWire (there should be a search function somewhere) and delete it.

You can install LimeWire manually. Get the .zip-file from http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download_other

Simply unpack the .zip-file into your LimeWire directory and that should be it.

Nope, Windows usually doesn't detect any programs, that it doesn't find in its registry. Maybe the LimeWire installer is not working correctly, I've heard that other people have trouble with it, too.
