i did the download for livewire, then, it said i had to download installshield wizard. it downloads - then just stops. the box stays on my screen and won't close, even if i hit cancel. i have to go alt/control delete to get it off my screen. and, of course, i can't do anything after that.
i turned off my computer and tried again - this time, i didn't have to download lime, but the installshield wizard came up again. i started the download, it went through the time period - but again, at the end, nothing happens. the install box doesn't leave my screen, even though the line is filled in (indicating it's finished). Nothing happens. It won't leave my screen, but it won;t move to the next step.
any ideas?

Download the .zip file from http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download_other (only one of the files you'll see there is a zip archive). Unzip it and execute limewire.bat -

the installer sucks.
