![]() Apparently, like many others trying to install LimeWire 2.3 on a Windows 2000 Pro box, I have had difficulty with both the installation and the solutions recommended by LimeWire (recong of Dcomcnfg.exe) and this forum (1-27-2002 post recommending remote installation of two discrete files). Before a recent Windows 2000 rebuild, I had installed LimeWire without issue---perhaps an earlier version, but not any earlier than what was available in Feb/Mar. Are there any LimeWire developers/staff monitoring this list who have noticed the number of Win2K users who have tried these workarounds to no avail? Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks!
