LimeWire wants you to read the manual in the first place. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...=3328#section2 |

javaw.exe That manual doesn't help me at all. I have windows 98, and have had Limewire 2.1 since it came out. I wanted to upgrade so I downloaded the new version- replacing my old one- and now i have no limewire because it can't find that javaw.exe file. None of the shortcuts work no matter where they are on my computer! I've tried everything! |

:-) If you've tried everything there's not a lot left over to advice you on. Perhaps you could define 'everything' in a little more detail? Does it, for instance, include downloading and installing the latest JRE (Java Runtime Environment) (version 1.4ish at the moment) and then re-installing the latest version of LimeWire? Mark |
