Fails To Establish Connection

I have the latest free version of LimeWire running on WI*** and the correct JRE. I have the same thing on another computer under WIN98 and LimeWire connects alright, however it fails to establish a connection on the computer running WI***. I doubt whether it has anything to do with that.
