Can't Open Limewire a second time, Download was Successful

To: Computer Literate People,
I tried clicking on the Limewire Desktop button and nothing happens. I try running it through Start but again nothing. I downloaded the softwear and was using it the first day and it worked fine. Now nothing happens. Shuting Down and Restarting my computer doesn't help. What do I do now.

I wish I was writing with help, but actually I have the same problem. When I first download Limewire 2.8.5 it works fine, but I can never launch it again from my desktop or programs file. I just have to redownload the whole thing each time. This is lame! My old (free) Limewire always worked fine. I sure would appreciate help! Thanks

Hey, I found a reply on another thread that helped me. This was it:

naturally, make sure you have java installed. If it is, find the file javaw.exe on your computer.

Make yourself a shortcut that says
"pathtoyourjavawfile\javaw" -classpath RunLime.jar RunLime

next to "start in" make sure it has the path of the directory where LimeWire.jar is.

That should be all you need to do.

It took me a bit to play around with it, but now when I double click on the javaw shortcut on my desktop, it opens up Limewire! Hope this helps.
( In the place where it says pathtoyourjavafile, just leave the path that's in there and only add the -classpath part at the end)
