Unhappy Installation error 1335, data1.cab

I downloaded and tried installing LW Pro 2.8.5, but it goes part of the way through and I get this message:

Error 1335. The cabinet file ‘Data1.cab’ required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package.

I tried downloading it again, but I still got the same message. I tried restarting and installing it, but I got the same message.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help.

Uninstall it completely off your system and after you do this.

Depends on what windows version you have to which I only understand windows try updating your windows at www.windowsupdate.com and make sure you update everything thats needed to be updated. and then try again.

If not, you may need to go through and delete everything manually even in the registery, you shouldn't have to do this so if you have windows 98 and up and not Linux or Mac this is what I would try first.

Make sure you don't have spyware or adware from using other clients/programs that may cause this problem www.adware.com or www.pestpatrol.com

Hope this helps you
