Problem with 2.9.7
 

I just got done downloading this(2.9.7) verison.I had the 2.6.3 verison and no problem with it.I have downloaded many songs.When I go to my libarary,it has incomplete files,but say's nothing about my shared files.Does anybody know what I am doing wrong?
Can I get 2.6.3 verison again?
I went to my add/remove program and re-installed it.Thanking that it might not had downloaded right,..same thing!
Can somebody help me?

Re-add your shared files using "File->Add Folder To Share" from the Library window.

Never update a downloading client
 

I should have learned my lesson by now.

NEVER UPDATE A DOWNLOADING CLIENT IF YOUR CURRENT VERSION WORKS

I just made the mistake with Limewire 2.9.7

Now not one god damned thing is downloading and I have no idea why. All the FAQ's never talk about how the new versions screw up everything, they always talk about how "great" the new versions are and how they'll "speed everything up and make it better."

What a bunch of crap
Now I own a useless piece of software and I have to start either looking for version 2.9.6 if I can actually get it working again or looking for some crap-*** ad run program that actually has stuff that downloads.

Never touch a running system, never change a winning team!

First, "Not one thing is downloading" don't mean ****, that can happen whether you upgrade or whether you just restart LimeWire.

Second, searching for the files manually will very often wake up "Couldn't download"-downloaders.
