I just recently upgraded to WinXP. I purchased the limewire pro based on previous success with the program on WinME. Everytime I attempted to download the upgrade I get "object blocked" Can anyone tell me what is going on and how I can successfully download the program-i miss my music!!

Is "object blocked" the error message you get when downloading LimeWire with the Internet Explorer?

Yes. I also tried Opera and it did not work. FYI, I am running zone alarm pro ,disabled the firewall while trying to download, but still receive the same message

I'm not sure what that could mean, but you could try killing all processes running in the background (using the TaskManager) that you don't really need and then try again. Then you could at least make sure it's nothing on your side, that's keeping you from downloading LimeWire.

Ever tried downloading other programs from the www?

I will try that and see what happens. I have never had this problem before when downloading from the web so I am not sure why I am encountering this problem.
