Why download English version 3.1.0 turned out to be Chinese version?
 

I always use version 2.9.8 English version. After upgrading to 3.1.0 English version, it turned out to be Chinese version. I repeatedly uninstalled & installed but still got the Chinese version. I want my English version back !!!

Try the international installer instead and change the language during the installation process. I think it's the first installation dialog box (probably in chinese) that allows you to choose the language.

I found the solution myself
 

At the download option page http://www.limewire.com/english/content/download.shtml, we have to choose the OS, which are ..... Windows (English Only), Windows, Mac OSX, Mac Classic, Linux, Other.

I first chose "Windows (English Only)" to install LW English version but somehow got the Chinese version. This download page doesn't show the language options.

Later, I uninstalled and changed to click the OS "Windows" and asked me to choose the language (English or Chinese). I finally got the English version here.

I guess the first installation problem occured because LW detected my OS is Windows Chinese version instead of English and LW transferred the Chinese version to me.

Case closed ... haha.
