Limewire Now Connects Despite ZoneAlarm

After contacting Limewire support in regards to Version 3+ not connecting to Gnutella, I was told that it was a problem with ZoneAlarm.

Well, that's why I have ZoneAlarm and Adaware active.... to prevent illegal intrusions onto my computer. Me thinks that the Limewire programmers have added data mining etc to version 3+ because I solved my connection problem by un-installing Limewire 3+ and re-installing Version 2.6.5. It connects without a hitch!!!

Just to assure you, LimeWire does not perform any data mining activities or monitor the use of your connection in any way.

I am not sure why you are able to connect with 2.6.5 while being unable to connect with the newer version, although this likely points to a problem with the new connection handshaking logic that we were previously unaware of.

Thanks.
