pro won't run

I see a few threads that talk about problems, but no specific answers. I installed lime wire pro on my Dell running Win XP. It installed fine, but it doesn't run. NO error message. Nothing in the task manager. The only other program I'm running is Zone Alarm Pro. If there's a problem with a firewall, it ought to be on the FAQ list. Running lime wire without a firewall is not an option.
