 The solution to "can't remove older version" It turned out an old LimeWire .msi installer key in the registry was still there. After it was deleted the install worked. Right click on My Computer/Manage and go to Event Viewer/Application and see if you can find a registry key named in the error properties. Search for it and delete. Worked for me. This is typical Unexpected or missing value (name: 'PackageName', value: '') in key 'HKLM\Software\Classes\Installer\Products\C6CC7AAE 37D7F5D4D843E1C6B3C667D0\SourceList'  |
