I'm in the same boat. I bought a new harddrive copied everything through a program but for some reason it didn't move over some of the limewire files that were in my temp folder. Why something that i would need for the program would be in my temp folder is pretty dumb. Anyway i tried loading the new update and it said it couldn't uninstall the older version. So i manually deleted everything and searched the registry and deleted everything I could find in there. Now there's something buried in the registry not named "limewire" and i can't update or reload any versions. I need a list of all the registry entries made so i can manually delete them but the only way to get help is if I buy the program and ask them after i'm a paying member. Why would i buy something if i don't know what they're gonna tell me? I'm gonna end up buying it and they'll just tell me to reinstall windows or something. If anyone who is a paying customer would ask the company for a detailed list of the registry keys and pass it on, that would be awesome. |
